Max-Attract — THE WORLD'S BEST FALL HUNTING PLOT MIX

Formulated for maximum fall attraction. The combination of high-preference perennial and annual clovers, winter peas, chicory and cereal grains are what make this mix the "Cadillac" of fall seed blends. This 3-season mix is also a great source of nutrition that continues into spring through early summer. Increase deer attraction by planting half of a large food plot with Tecomate® Max-Attract and the other half with Tecomate® Greenfield or side by side in two smaller food plots. No other fall planting comes close.

MAX ATTRACT with proprietary forage Oats, Triticale, Winter Peas, Clover and Chicory has it all in one bag. This mixture is time tested and proven to provide fall & winter attraction with spring nutrition. In the south, Max Attract is often used in a rotation with summer annuals like Lablab or Lablab Plus. In the Northeast and Midwest, it is often used in combination with Monster Mix to maximize production while establishing a perennial Clover/Chicory plot. The forage Oats and Triticale are both high in soluble sugars and do more than just attract deer, they provide bucks with energy during the rut. The Nutrigreen Winter Peas are an upgrade from the old Austrian Winter Pea with better production and palatability. We also use annual Clovers that establish quickly and provide nutrition for bucks to help them recover from the physical stress of the rut. Chicory provides plenty of attraction along with nutrition. Clovers and Chicory are coated with our proprietary Yellow Jacket seed coating containing Zeba. Max Attract is ideal for use in all zones.

Max Attract Planting Suggestions

1) Plant in a sunny location that has been disked to a clean, level and firm seedbed.
2) Tecomate recommends liming if the pH is below 5.8 and fertilizing with a balanced 13-13-13 fertilizer at the rate of 200 to 300 pounds per acre. Inoculating with Cowpea Inoculant will improve nitrogen fixation.
3) No-till drill, cultivate and broadcast or cultivate and drill seed. Plant at a rate of 40 pounds per acre. When broadcasting, cover seed by dragging or cultipacking. Plant 1/4 inch deep in good moisture. Avoid planting too deep.
4) If planted in spring in northern zones, mow in late summer and fertilize in late August or early September.

MONSTER MIX® is a proprietary mixture of White Clover, Red Clover and Chicory that is as good for attraction as it is for nutrition. With its unparalleled highly digestible protein, white clover has long been a part of trophy whitetail management throughout the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast. However, the addition of Chicory boosts the overall production and growing season as well as providing plant diversity. Monster Mix withstands heavy browsing pressure, while providing antler-building protein levels over 30% and even higher levels of beneficial phosphorous. In addition, Chicory provides tannins that benefit the rumen of deer and elk. Monster Mix is a perennial food plot blend that last for 3-5 years and grows through most of the year. Monster Mix® Planting Suggestions

1. Plant in a sunny location that has been disked to a clean, level and firm seedbed.
2. Tecomate recommends liming if the pH is below 6.5 and fertilizing with a phosphorous heavy fertilizer at the rate of 200 to 300 pounds per acre. Monster Mix is pre-inoculated and coated with Yellow Jacket for fast germination.
3. No-till drill, cultivate and broadcast or cultivate and drill seed. Plant at a rate of 8 pounds per acre. When broadcasting, cover seed by lightly dragging or cultipacking. Avoid planting too deep, disking is NOT recommended. Plant 1/8 to ¼ inch deep in good moisture. Frost seeding is acceptable in colder climates.
4. Use grass selective herbicide or mow to about 6 inches high in spring/early summer. Re-fertilize at recommended rates from routine soil samples. Overseed to refresh plot.

Rackup Red Clover — A Must-Have for Serious Food Plotters

A very productive, fast establishing, high protein red clover blend. The only deer food plot seed mix of its kind on the market today, Rackup Red Clover is crafted entirely of Tecomate® select red clovers that deer and turkey can’t resist. This blend of premium perennial clovers will grow in most any climate or soil type. Rackup Red Clover is a great substitute where alfalfa will not grow because the tonnage production and protein levels are very similar making it a great alternative for cattle. Produces year-round nutrition for two years then reseeds for even longer production.

Root King Radish — “King of All Radish”

Contains a premium daikon radish that produces leafy forage plus a very large, soil-busting taproot that aerates the soil resulting in better water absorption, increased organic matter and greater root penetration. Along with an abundance of highly nutritious leafy tops, this brassica's giant bulbs provide excellent late season, high-sugar food deer love. The special coating improves growth and health of the plant and others around it. Extremely high yielding radish that is great as a standalone or mixed with other Tecomate® seeds.

Trophy Forage Oats — The Enhanced Classic Fall Attraction Plot

Tecomate® Trophy Forage Oats are superior forage oats. The result of years of selective breeding and research; these forage oats shoot out of the ground, grow fast and yield tons of high energy food when deer need it most. Trophy Forage Oats were bred to take frigid weather that would stop most varieties of oats cold, thus extending production and attractiveness.

They are also bred to be elevated in sugar, making them irresistible to deer year-round. Recommended nationwide, these oats are great planted alone or with other seeds in any Tecomate® fall planting. They tolerate the heaviest grazing pressure making them ideal for any size heavily grazed deer food plot.
